Many often ask, what is the best way, to help SLM "Great Hope and Brighter Future". Most treasured are your prayers - they are always welcomed. Helping to spread the word about the work of SLM is also a wonderful way to help us.For those, that desire to financially support SLM, the village school has a waiting lost of children who need sponsorship. We are currently at capacity, but would like to expand, to meet the desperate need.

Please prayerfully consider supporting us in the following way:

- As a result of the earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010 all support coming into the ministry is being used for relief and rebuilding. We are providing financial aid for the purchase of food and water and are attempting to locate a building to temporarily house our children, staff, and their families.  Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti.

Ours special projects and programs that are also in need of support include:

- School building classrom expansion, a kitchen addition and solar lighting for evening adult education.

- Micro-enterprise and comunity developement opportunities.

- Food security program, that includes the developement uf sustainable agricultural demonstration centers in urban und rural areas.

- Enviromental restoration program, focusing on reforestation, organic soil re-establishment and watershed restoration.
